Meg became Executive Director of the St. Paul City School District when St. Paul City School merged with River’s Edge Academy to become a preschool through 12th grade school district. She served as the Executive Director of River’s Edge Academy high school for 11 years. Before joining River’s Edge Academy, Meg was the secondary principal at Bethany Academy in Bloomington where she also taught Life science, Earth Science, Chemistry and Physics. She has experience as an Interpretive Naturalist at the Minnesota Zoo, Special Education teacher and youth pastor.

Meg enjoys spending time with her family hiking at Dodge Nature Center, bird watching, and reading. Meg is committed to the vision of St. Paul City School and supporting students in their journey to graduation as well as post secondary education.


Justin Tiarks

This is Justin's 11th year at St. Paul City School. He began his tenure at SPCS serving as a 5th Grade teacher for four years before transitioning to Assistant Principal for two years and is now entering his fifth year as Principal. Prior to working at SPCS, Justin taught 4th and 5th grade in Des Moines, Iowa and also worked at a homeless shelter in Chicago. In addition to serving as Principal, Justin is an adjunct instructor at Concordia University in the MA in Educational Leadership program and is also pursuing his Doctorate in Educational Leadership.

Justin enjoys spending time with his family and particularly enjoys seeing his his son (a kindergartner at SPCS) in the hallways each day. He plays guitar, loves Iowa Hawkeye football, and gets in a game of racquetball whenever he has the chance.

As both a leader and a parent at SPCS, Justin believes deeply in the work that happens here each day. It is a pretty incredible place!


Jenny Reiling
Assistant Principal

Ms. Reiling’s is in her ninth year at St Paul City School. She has been passionately committed to education and supporting all students. In her time at SPCS, Ms. Reiling has served in many positions.  She began as a Social Studies teacher, then served as Dean of Students at the Middle School, Head of the Middle School, and is now our Assistant Principal.  In addition, Ms. Reiling served enthusiastically as both Vice-Chair and Chair of SPCS’ school board for over five years.

Travelling is also a passion of hers and she is always looking forward to new places to explore. She loves her niece and two nephews who live in Arizona; so as often as possible Ms. Reiling visits the sunny state.  She also loves to laugh and have a great time with her friends.

Ms. Reiling is deeply committed to SPCS and truly loves working with the best students and families in the world and has loved her time working with generations of SPCS families!


Angela Imdieke
Director of Teaching and Learning

Angela started her journey in education 21 years ago as a teacher in southern Texas! Upon moving back to Minnesota, Angela joined the SPCS team. She held the roles of 5th & 6th grade teacher at SPCS before becoming a literacy coach and curriculum coordinator. She continued training on supporting English Language students and developing students into lifelong readers which lead to her current role as Director of Teaching and Learning. Angela is a passionate about helping ALL students succeed!

In her free time, Angela likes exploring new places near and far, reading mysteries and hiking by rivers and lakes. She also enjoys time with her family playing cribbage and board games.

Meagan Reissy
Director of Language and Intervention Programs

This will be Meagan’s eighth year at SPCS serving in various roles such as EL teacher, EL Coordinator and Instructional Coach. In addition to her new role as the Director of Language and Intervention Programming this year, Meagan also serves as the Chair of the Minnesota Association of Charter Schools Relicensure Committee as well as serves on the board of Viva Musica (a non-profit that gets art and music into schools and the community). Prior to her work at SPCS, Meagan taught adult ESL classes with the Minnesota Literacy Council. 

In her free time, Meagan enjoys spending time with her husband, their son (who is attending preK at SPCS this year!), and their dog. Meagan loves to cook and loves being out in nature. She just came back from her eleventh trip to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and Wilderness, a trip she takes yearly with her brother. 

Meagan believes ALL kids deserve the highest quality education and desires for ALL students to feel safe, welcome, joy, and excitement for learning.
